Inspiration

Great design can take a good concept and create an exceptional outcome that inspires investment and compels place change.

Following on from our Award for Excellence in Urban Design (AILA 2016) for the Glenorchy CBD Strategic Framework, Inspiring Place have assisted Council in bringing their vision to life for the CBD to be a modern, vibrant and accessible civic centre

Outcomes

To date, we’ve provided Council with the required designs and documentation for $1.5M of expenditure over three stages of works. The projects are a rare opportunity to make a difference to the life of the City on a significant scale and to influence the way the CBD operates to support businesses and the community.

Importantly the work with Glenorchy has enabled us to demonstrate our firm’s full potential as visionary place-shapers, from excellence in strategic planning and community engagement to the detail of landscape architecture design for construction.

Recognition

The best recognition a project can receive is our observation of the frequent use and enjoyment people have in the spaces we have created.
