Senior Landscape Architect
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect with 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will encompass all aspects of master planning, concept design, documentation, contract administration, quality control, project management, client negotiation and management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead landscape projects from concept through to completion
Liaise with Directors to determine appropriate fees and achievable time frames for work and to manage personal workflows
Report to Directors on progress and billing cycles
Manage self and staff to deliver projects to agreed time frames and budgets
Undertake contract documentation, specification writing, contract administration inclusive of variations, project advice notices and claims, quality control and OH+S reporting.
Assist Directors in improving practice systems, policy and processes
Liaise with clients, stakeholders and sub-consultants
Key Requirements
5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role
Passionate about design, attention to detail and being a part of a close and creative team
Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both graphic and oral)
Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines, prioritise work and delegate
Experienced in coordination and working with clients and consultants
Proficient in Vectorworks, Adobe suite. MS office, Sketch up, hand illustration
Experienced in preparing 3d visualisations and managing BIM (although not essential)
Bachelor's Degree/ Masters in Landscape Architecture or accepted equivalent experience
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Current driver’s licence
Landscape Architect
The Role
We are looking for a Landscape Architect with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will encompass assisting Senior Landscape Architects and Directors all aspects of master planning, concept design, documentation, contract administration, quality control, project management, client negotiation and management.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake and assist Senior Landscape Architects to manage projects from concept through to completion
Assist Senior Landscape Architects to deliver projects to agreed time frames and budgets
Undertake and assist Senior Landscape Architects with research, product sourcing, cost planning and site inspections
Assist Senior Landscape Architects with documentation and contract administration
Assist Directors in improving practice systems, policy and processes
Build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and sub-consultants
Key Requirements
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Passionate about design, attention to detail and being a part of a close and creative team
